The Learning Hub is currently displaying a selection of poems chosen and written by year 7 pupils as well as a few books from our poetry section. Please do come down and have a look!
Pupils can also pick up a leaflet regarding the position of Birmingham’s young poet laureate. For more details on that please see here.
If you would like us to display any of your pupils work in the future please contact us in the Learning Hub and we’ll be happy to help.
On the 23rd of June 2011 Handsworth Grammar School’s Design & Technology and Science departments held a “Super Capacitor Car Challenge” for all of the Year 8 students.
The students had to pair up and overcome the task of building a car that could run on a supercapacitor.
Well done to all of the students that took part in the challenge and a big thank you to all of the Year 9 mentors that helped provide valuable support throughout the day.
Please click here to view our gallery of photos taken throughout the day.
