Ofsted Report
We have now received the final Ofsted Report following our inspection earlier this month. The report makes very positive reading and we are proud to be graded a Good School with Outstanding features. The Report is testament to the dedicated hard work of our whole school community – Staff, Students, Governors and Parents as well as our Community partners. We are already focussing upon the areas for development and they will be featuring in our School Development Plan and School Self Evaluation Form over the next three year cycle. Please click here to read the full report. The Report will also feature on the Ofsted website from March 4th 2013.

Ofsted Inspection
HGS underwent an Ofsted inspection on Tuesday 5th February and Wednesday 6th February 2013. This was a Section 5 inspection under the Ofsted Framework in place from 1st September 2012. The team of Inspectors was comprised of one HMI Lead Inspector and three Additional Inspectors as well as one Observer. We received the notice for inspection by phone call to the Head at lunchtime on Monday 4th February 2013. It was a rigorous and thorough as well as fair and transparent process and we look forward to receiving the report when published in the near future. Our thanks go to all Parents who participated in the survey process.
You will be pleased and reassured to know that HGS Staff and Students rose to the challenge of an Ofsted Inspection with characteristic vigour, zest and enthusiasm.
