YPP Trip to London
Members of the YPP of Handsworth Association of Schools were selected to visit London, as part of their ongoing learning in order to gain an understanding of how government operates in both the House of Commons and House of Lords. Their guide escorted them to St James’s Park after a visit to Buckingham Palace. They then walked down the Mall, enjoyed a view of House Guards Parade and Oliver Cromwell’s Statue and finally had a detailed guided tour of the House of Commons/ House of Lords. The information was truly enlightening and ended with a question and answer session. The boys were a real credit to HGS.
