b'InstrumentalProgress Evening20th March 2024Big School was a venue for this popular concert for our younger musicians and was almost entirely packed out by parents, musicians and teachers. We enjoyed performance from both soloists and ensembles. The ensembles were Year 8 Dhol Group, Beginners Brass Ensemble, Lower School Woodwind Ensemble, Year 8 Guitar Ensemble and Beginners Keyboard Ensembles. Our soloists were Nicholas Woods, Gavin Luo, Mukul Rohila, Alvin Chan (violin), Maxi Skokna, Safdariqbal Javed (flute), Ziheng Yin, Ibrahim Khan, Filip Rusinowicz (clarinet), Aayan Pirani, Dhruv Jingar, Jerren Okyere-Darko (piano), Sukhmandeep Sanghera (trombone), Brandon Masih, Chaniru Ranasinghe, Prakul Rohila (classical guitar), Gurvir Singh, Ali Rahaman (trumpet), Teghbir Singh (tabla) and Luke McKinnon (French horn). As in previous years, it is an opportunity for the boys of all abilities to participate. Our brass ensemble played two items on their own, then joined in with one other school to perform the theme from The Avengers. The students involved were Ekam Singh, Rayhaan Hussain, Ajeet Bolina, Ali Rahaman, Avaneesh Maddala, Gurvir Singh, James Rigby, Johan Del Rosario, Sebastian Fernando, Sukhmandeep Sanghera and William Kane.WINTER CONCERT17th December 2024Big School proved to be a great venue(trombone), Johan del Rosario (euphonium),one of the great successes of the evening, for our Winter Concert this year.
