b'CYBER DISCOVERYCOMPETITION SUCCESSCongratulations to seven of our Year 12 Computer Science students who all scored maximum marks in the recent Cyber Discovery Challenge, an HM Government-fundedHUNTEDextracurricular programme, turning teenagers into cyber security experts. This is an integral part of the UKs national cyber security strategy and aims to develop the nextBeyond the Talegeneration of cyber professionals. They were selected from over 35,000 students to take part in the Cyber-Start complete bonus challenge, aiming to solve an online capture the flag competition. All students are working as hard as they can to reach the final stage ofYoung Writers the competition, completing digital forensics, cryptography and binary exploitation tasks which are skills needed in a real-life cyber security experts job. CompetitionLast October, all students were given the opportunity to participate in the LE PRINTEMPS annual Mini Saga Writing Competition. A total of 156 entries were submitted DES POTES and a whopping 144 entries were accepted for publication.Hope in your courage, hope in my promise The feedback we received via Young Writers was very positive: Id like to Every March Le Printemps des Potes (The Spring of Poets), a two-week festival,close by congratulating King Edward takes place all over France and in more than 20 other countries. Its purpose is toVI Handsworth Grammar School for promote poetry through the voices of both contemporary and historical authors. We didnt invite contributions from specific students; we created a poetryopportunity to congratulate specific competition open to all!
