b'A r tDuring the lockdown, while the rest of At t a c k the country has been stuck at home, Ive been having days out around Europemainly Italy and Spain. Ive been walking around some beautiful places and taking in the sceneryI did some very quick sketches as I went, after being inspired by the urban sketchers on Instagram. Ive been trying to work faster and move away from photographic realism and neatness.Ive been helped by a little companion who has shown me all sorts of lovely placesweve even been to the beach. Next week I think we are planning a trip to Morocco! Fingers crossed I will be able to go to some of the places for real in the future.Ms FisherQUARAN-TEENSThe past is foreign, but memory issleepless day You will remember school doors closing nothing if not local But forget the polite chirp of confusedfaster than they openedFeigning memory will make surebirds at three in the morning You will forget how worry seemed there are hundreds of things you willYou will remember the productivity (ordistant, like this was all a pleasant remember from lockdown lack of), and how busy hands moveddreamAnd a hundred more you are yet tomanic as if to outrun their own stillness Like the thoughts of an open mind in forget But forget the sensation of standing inclosed wallsSo an older you writes an ode to thosearms length You will remember and you will forgetlost memories You will remember the good times, andYou will reminisce and lament those Not lost but frozen in the torrents ofwhat you did to pass the bad months you spent, your quaran-teensever-passing time But forget the near closeness of those The stillness is constant now, justmiles awaylesser so You will forget the movies you binged,Qaasim JosephYou will remember the boredom, andand remember the ones you didnthow it stretched the months into one 5'
