 DALLAS
The city of Dallas in Texas is a key
host for the 2026 FIFA World Cup,
with matches played at AT&T Stadium
in nearby Arlington. Opened in 2009,
this vast venue, home to the Dallas
Cowboys of the National Football
League, is known for its retractable roof
and giant screen, making it one of the
world’s most advanced stadiums.
Dallas grew rapidly in the 19th century
as a centre for cotton, cattle, and
railroads, later becoming a major hub
for finance and technology. It is also
remembered for the 1963 assassination
of John F. Kennedy.
Located on flat plains in northern Texas,
Dallas has hot summers and mild
winters. Soccer has grown in popularity,
supported by FC Dallas in Major
League Soccer. Hosting the World Cup
highlights Dallas as a global sports city
with strong culture and hospitality.

 MIAMI
Miami is one of the
most well-known
cities in the United
States, famous for
its beaches, warm
climate, and rich cultural
diversity. Located in the south-eastern
part of Florida, Miami is a global city
that has been shaped by its geography,
history, and people.
One of the most important aspects of
Miami is its diverse population. Over
the years, large numbers of immigrants
have settled in the city, particularly from
Cuba, Haiti, and other Latin American
countries. This has made Miami one
of the most multicultural cities in the
world. Many languages are spoken,
with Spanish being almost as common
as English in
everyday life.
Neighbourhoods
such as Little
Havana reflect
the strong
cultural influence
of immigrant
communities and
add to the city’s unique character.
Miami is a city shaped by its coastal
geography, young but dynamic history,
and diverse population. Its landscapes
range from beaches and wetlands to
busy city streets, while its people bring
together cultures from across the world.
Together, these elements make Miami a
vibrant and influential city with a strong
global identity.
