W I LLI A M
I extend my best wishes to our year 11 and 13
students who have commenced their study leave.
Specifically, I would like to mention House Captains
Shaun Saju and Faaris Alam. I am confident that you
will bring honour to our house through successful
results in your forthcoming examinations.
House William currently stand in 3rd place in
the 2026 House Cup. Our students have shown
excellence in their behaviour and performances
in various events. We have numerous instances
of excellence that warrant acknowledgment
for their hard work. I trust that they can offer
encouragement and drive for the rest of us.

Mr Hussein, Head of House
G A L AHA D
This is my first year as head of Galahad and it is one
that we can be very proud of as a house.
The Galahads from every year group have made a
concerted effort with strong showings in academics,
behaviour, sport, and competitions have put us in a
fantastic place.
Our year 7 students have worked together well as a
form and have achieved a strong 2nd place for the
House football competition, 3rd in the basketball,
and took the trophy in the culture cup. 7 Galahad are
also second in merits, Well done!
With the Sports Enrichment Days, we have had a
4th place finish for the House Football for 8G, as well
as a 3rd place finish in the house football.
9G have showcased an incredible academic
performance, placing second in the house spelling
and topping the house table for merits in the year
group!
Year 10 are also at first place for merits, an
achievement which defines us as contenders for the
cup! Year 10 have also placed 2nd in the spelling!
Our year 11s have also made a great effort to put
us in a strong position before they depart, with 1st
place in the spelling competition! We wish 11G the
best of luck with their exams and the future.
Our 6th form teams have also delivered, who have
contributed 3000 house points, as well as winning
competitions such as spelling!
The glory of house points is often focused on
competitions and sports, but the bread and butter
of victory in the house cup always resides in house
points in class. Everyone is doing a fantastic job,
but exceptionally well done to Dhevan, Rayan, and
Hanlin in 7G, Rayhan and Oscar in 8G, Leith in 9G,
and Hanif and Sami in 10G for all now exceeding
300 merits on the year, an outstanding achievement.
There are a further 17 pupils across those forms
currently closing in on this mark as well!
I am really pleased with all our success so far
this year, let’s keep it up in this final stretch of the
school year.
Mr Cambell
Henry House has enjoyed an exceptional year,
clearly demonstrating what it means to live by our
core values of resilience, responsibility, bravery,
and commitment. These values are not just words;
they are evident every day in the way our students
approach their learning, support one another, and
represent the house across the school.
Resilience has been shown through students’
determination to keep trying, even when faced
with challenges, whether academic or personal.
Henry House students have consistently shown
that setbacks are opportunities to learn and grow.
Responsibility has been reflected in excellent
behaviour, punctuality, and pride in both individual
actions and collective success, with students
taking ownership of their choices and contributing
positively to the school community.
Our students have also displayed great bravery,
stepping outside their comfort zones by taking
part in competitions, leadership roles, and new
opportunities. This confidence to try, to speak up,
and to support others has been a real strength of
the house. Finally, commitment has underpinned
everything Henry House has achieved. This
includes commitment to learning, to improvement,
and to supporting peers and staff throughout the
year. Together, these values have created a strong,
supportive, and ambitious house culture.
As a result of this shared attitude and effort,
Henry House has achieved an outstanding total of
15,773 Arbor House Points.
Special congratulations go to our top house point
earners in each year group:
• Year 7: Omer Ali
• Year 8: Anania Fikru
• Year 9: Mavrick
Sahota
• Year 10: Mujtaba Khan
• Year 11: Amaan Nazir
These students have embodied the values
of Henry House through their commitment,
responsibility, and positive contributions, and their
efforts have played a key role in this success.
Well done to everyone in Henry House. Keep up
the good work – we are incredibly proud of what
you have achieved and look forward to even more
success ahead.
