Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium is additional funding delegated to schools according to the number of pupils who are currently in receipt of free school meals or have been in receipt of free school meals within the last 6 years.
For the academic year 2023-2024 we have approximately 125 students who are eligible for free school meals. Our Pupil Premium funding will be in the region of £142,899.
This funding will be used to pay for and support:-
- Staffing costs to provide booster classes for examination groups
- Intervention support for targeted students across the whole School with a special focus upon the disadvantaged
- Engage external groups to support a range of students within the School with a special focus upon the disadvantaged
- The Literacy Budget across the Whole School
- Literacy Training for Staff across the Whole School
- Rewards Trips
- Subsidize Educational trips and Visits
- ICT Hardware and Software across the Whole School to support teaching and learning and narrow the attainment gap
- Subsidize Duke of Edinburgh activities
- Educational resources across the Whole School with a special focus upon the disadvantaged
- The teaching of LAMDA and LAMDA examination costs
- The teaching of Music lessons and Music examination subsidies
- Hardship requests (such as Uniform costs)
- Subsidise coach costs and general transport costs
- Flexible learning / Enrichment days
- CATs testing and Baseline testing
