A-Level Results – Thursday 13th August 2026
Students will receive their A-Level results via their school email account by 8:30am on Thursday 13 August. Please ensure that you can access your school email account before results day. A limited number of staff will be available on site to provide support and guidance regarding UCAS applications and any other post-18 enquiries. We would like to wish all students the very best of luck with their results and thank them for their hard work and dedication throughout their studies. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and wish them every success in their future education, training and career pathways.
GCSE Results – Thursday 20th August 2026
Students can arrive at school from 8:30am to collect their results and begin the enrolment process. Results will be available for collection from Big School. Please note that parents and carers are welcome on site; however, due to space constraints, they will not be permitted inside Big School and will be asked to wait outside. Students wishing to continue their studies with us at HGS will be able to enrol into Sixth Form immediately after receiving their results. For those planning to continue their post-16 education at another school or college, staff will be available to support the off-rolling process. Members of staff will also be on hand throughout the morning to offer advice, guidance, and support regarding post-16 pathways. We are immensely proud of all our students and look forward to celebrating their achievements with them on Results Day. We wish every student the very best of luck for their results and future aspirations.
External Enrolment – Thursday 20th August 2026
We are delighted to welcome students who have applied to join HGS Sixth Form and have successfully achieved the required entry grades for September 2026. Enrolment for external applicants will take place from 11:00am on Thursday 20th August 2026. Please report to the Reception entrance on Grove Lane, where you will be directed to Big School to complete the enrolment process with our staff. To enrol, you must bring copies of your examination results and suitable proof of identification. To help speed up the process, we kindly ask that you upload your results to the Applicaa Portal before arriving on site. We look forward to welcoming you to the HGS community and supporting you as you begin the next stage of your educational journey.
