Sportshall Athletics

Recently, the Year 7 and 8 Athletics team competed in the Level 2 Birmingham Sportshall athletics event. The competition had lots of boys making their debut sporting performances for the school. The final results had the Year 7 team in first and the Year 8 team in third. This means that the Year 7 team have qualified to represent the region in the Birmingham City Games in March.  There were some outstanding performances. Finishing first in their events were Michael, Neeraj, Josh, Thane, Nihaal and Haisem.

Badminton

The Key Stage 4 team continued their winning streak with a win against Holte School 4-2. This was a highly competitive game with some excellent badminton on show from both schools. A special mention goes to Muhammad Amir Zaier on his sporting debut for the school.

The KS4 Badminton team beat Holte 4-2 in the Aston League.

The Under 13 and Under 16 Table Tennis teams represented Birmingham in the English Schools Zone Finals. They played very well against top opposition but missed out on a semi-final place.
