Sixth Form

Personal Standards

In the Sixth Form we want to cultivate an atmosphere in which there is a balance between discipline, supervision and the relative freedom that is appropriate for sixth form students in the Sixth Form. A strong emphasis is placed on the importance of good personal relationships between staff and students and amongst the students themselves.  The qualities of self-discipline, mutual respect and concern for others are valued.

Sixth Form students set an example to younger students and often act as ambassadors for our School in the wider community. High standards of personal appearance and responsible behaviour are expected. The standard but simple school uniform, including a black blazer and tie does apply to all in the Sixth Form.  Students who fail to conform to the school’s expectations will not be allowed in to the Sixth Form.
