Year 12 Basketball Success

The Year 12 Basketball team continued their successful run of victories with an exciting and hard-fought win against Aston University Engineering Academy on Tuesday 29th November.

The team led by Suffian Fadl-Elahi defeated their opponents by 45-37 in a close fought game. Despite the efforts of Bilal Saleem who scored 18 points the team was 1 point behind with only two minutes to go before baskets by Mo Mohammed secured victory.

The team was comprised of:

Suffian Fadl-Elahi, Bilal Saleem, Mo Mohamed, Malvir Padda, Amar Rupra, Karl Frater, Emon Choudhury, Mohsin Sadiq and Rehan Habib.

Aston Cup Football Success

The Year 9 Football team battled through to the semi finals of the Aston Cup with a 3-2 win against Hamstead Hall. Having had two goals disallowed we had to keep positive and in extra time Sundeep Dhillon scored the winner. Goal scorers: Sundeep Dhillon 2, Gurkirat Jagpal 1.
