Summer Concert 2026
Congratulations to all the performers who participated in our Summer Concert on the 2nd July. 80 students played in an eclectic programme with the evening starting with a rousing performance from Dhanveer, Jeevan and Taaj on dhols. We also heard the school orchestra, woodwind ensembles, brass ensemble, school choir, jazz band, string ensemble, guitar ensembles and A.B.B.A (year 11 GCSE boys but without Arjun). Solo items were provided by Prakul (piano), Amitoj (piano), Amaan (guitar), Pariyansha (flute), Arjan (dhol), Ajai (tenor horn), Ziona (flute), Derick (tenor horn). Ziheng (flute), Luke (French horn) and Jerren (piano). We also enjoyed a beautiful vocal solo from Ini at the beginning of Something Inside So Strong performed by the School Choir.
This was the evening we said goodbye to Adam Cunningham and Billy Wells who are moving on next year to study music technology at other . They have been a wonderful asset to the department and we wish them every success in the future.
Finally, a big thank you to all the instrumental teachers who prepared our students for the concert and to many others who helped with technology, tickets, refreshments and compering.
