Birmingham City Council has been working closely with Islamic leaders of the city and has published guidance on observing Ramadan and Eid during the COVID-19 outbreak. This guidance is available on the council website at:

Dear Parents/Carers and Students
As you are aware, all GCSE and A Level examinations have been cancelled this year because of the current Corona virus (Covid 19) crisis.
Over the last few days, our staff have been inundated with emails and calls from worried parents and students who are seeking clarity about how GCSE and A Level grades will be awarded this summer.
While this is understandable, we are simply not in a position to give any more information other than what is in the public domain. Our first priority is to look after the students at this school who are the children of Key workers. We are doing this while being mindful of the health and wellbeing of our own staff and their families.
When we have clearer information about how the exam results are going to be awarded, then we will let you know.
Until then, please refrain from contacting staff to ask about your child’s GCSE results, A Level results, Sixth Form place or University application. Staff have been instructed not to reply. Until we receive further guidance from the Exam Boards and the DfE we are not in a position to respond.

Collaboration Concert

Unfortunately, we are cancelling this concert.
Instrumental Progress Evening 19th March 2020
This evening event has been cancelled. However, we would like those performers who are in on Thursday 19th March to attend their rehearsal (as per the schedule), to rehearse, then perform to Mr. Ward. They will then return to their lessons. Students will not be kept after school.
We recognize that students have spent a long time preparing and we would like to give them this opportunity to perform even if it is not with a large audience.
