Newman University Visit

Eight year 12 students attended a psychology taster morning at Newman University on Monday 4th July.  The trip provided the students with an insight into studying Psychology at University.  The students attended two lectures; one on health psychology and the other on developmental psychology where they learnt about disease prevention interventions and the development of attachments in children.  Students learnt about the UCAS process and were given a tour of the campus.  The students also learnt about the career propsects of students who study Psychology at University.  The trip proved to be both insightful and informative.
