b'FOOTBALL STARSThe Year 9 Football Team did the double this year winning the Aston League and the Aston Cup.The last game of the season against King Edward VI Aston would be the decider. If they won or drew with us, they won the league and we needed to win. We started the game with a quick goal which steadied the nerves and then scored another just before half time. In the second half Aston were awarded a penalty to bring the score to 2-1 but we were stronger and eventually won 5-2.In the Aston Cup we played Broadway in the final and we really struggled to find some rhythm so at half time they were winningbeaten in the final 3-0. In the second half we transformed our game and built up theby BUT the boys were more excited about pressure, pulling back one goal, then another and then scoring thea special football star that they were hoping to bump into. Just third goal with almost the last kick of the game. It was an amazingbefore the game they had been saying wouldnt it be amazing if comeback which meant the game went into extra time. We wereAlisha Lehmann was at the ground. When warming up they saw celebrating like we had won the game!! Momentum was on our sidesomeone come out of one of the offices and it was Alisha Lehmann!! and we dominated extra time but just couldnt score a goal and thenThe boys shouted across and she waved at them and then David with a few minutes left we scored. Akanihu shouted can we have a photograph with you. She willingly We qualified for the Super Cup Final at Bodymoor HeathAstoncame across and the boys had a photo with her.
